The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Erin Mills endeavours to support our students in many ways. Language is central to a student’s intellectual, social and emotional growth. Whether they are studying history or learning science, students need fundamental language skills to understand information and express their ideas. Our main goals are to integrate our students into their new school setting and to focus on improving their English language skills so that they are able to meet the challenge of their academic program.
As well, we are proud of the multicultural heritage of our school. The Heritage Hall reflects the international background of our students. If you don’t see your heritage flag in the hall, please inform us and it will be added.
Again, welcome to Erin Mills. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions about your child’s progress.
